Loving Hawaii Weather...

Not so much for my brother and his family in Minneapolis...
It is 9 degrees there... 9

I just went to let the dog out and was succumb to heat. My A/C is set at 73 (still) Petey ran out into the sunshine past the lanai. He ran into the freshly mowed grass... Ahhh

I shudder when I think of the cold...

Which pic for the Christmas card...lol

You know how this goes...right? the kids all looking a different way.. this year we had ants swarming Andrews foot... time out, get the bug spray...ok, start over...
Here are the outtakes. The ones with only the boys were taken while we waited for Maddie to get ready. A teenager getting ready... You can practically watch the sun set while waiting...and waiting... While ants attack...lol

The Kids Christmas Show

The other night Troy cam across some old video and we watched Maddie sing in her Christmas shows in elementary school. Of course she was the cutest kid up there and she looked so adorable. IT was so much fun to see them again after so long! Troy said he would transfer them to disc.
The boys are finally in school together so this year they had a Christmas program together!! Yay! It was really cute to see them all sing and they were so proud of all their hard work learning the songs!!

Christmas in Hawaii

See the Christmas LIghts behind the Red Ginger?

Well, we have the lights up on the house thanks to Clark "Troy" Griswald and the tree up and decorations are all over the house. The AC is set at 70 at night and 73 during the day. Yes, you read it....
I sit in my air conditioned comfort watching the weather channel for amusement. The Pacific Northwest is getting hit HARD with snow! Snow and hurricane strength winds... Lots of snow and temps in the low 30's. Freezing ice and airport delays all the way down to Portland. Yuck. I wonder how our Puyallup house is doing? (Glad I don't live there!!!) Hah!! All this weather has given me new inspiration and just reassured my loving feelings towards the weather here in Hawaii.
Just yesterday Troy mowed the lawn and edged... I trimmed the palms out front (so you could better see the Christmas lights!) all in shorts and a t- shirt. WE don't even OWN a shovel, or Ice de-locker or a windshield scraper.... for now. Who knows where we will be in 2.5 years? Until then I will enjoy it here and get my kicks watching the weather channel. Hah!
