Pride For Ewa

Now this amused me.. A sign company made this... A Company that MAKES signs... THats all they do..

A view from my booth.
The adorable layered blueberry trifle dessert sitting there is actually a candle made by Lavender moon & Curio Things. It smells amazing, like a warm vanilla with berries! Each blueberry and raspberry are filled with intricate detail and the whip cream looks real! In-between soy wax layers the berries are uncased with a gel and you can see them in there with all their berry perfection! The time that must have gone into this is crazy! If you want to get superior quality candles, Wendy at Lavender Moon & Curio things is the person to buy them from!
If Angela hadn't brought lunch over I am sure I would have eaten this. Yes, it smelled THAT good!

Some new jewelry designs and more to come! (www.aquashella.etsy.com)

My little slice of pie

Did a show in Ewa last weekend. My last show until the Haleiwa Art Festival. Angela and family lived across the street so it was great to see them throughout the day, not to mention the sandwich and ice cold grapes that came my way around lunchtime :-)
It was a hot day. Ewa hot. I was fried/burnt at the end of the day and I was sitting under my canopy the whole day, go figure?

Kualoa Ranch field trip w/ Dad and Ryan

Ry feeding the goose

Either this guy hates grass or he has a steady diet of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches from kids lunches...

Puumba!!

The Ostrich looks pissed that the hand may or may not be an Ostrich itself!

This guy is about 40 years old! He came to the ranch in the 60's

Mmmmmmm Kid fingers! They taste just like carrots

The kids were all done with farm living, time to return to school!
I was bummed to miss this Field trip. I was sick so dad had to fill in. He was fresh back from North Carolina but rose to the occasion and they all had a good time.

Waikiki Aquarium and Ice Skating

SO we managed 3 of the list the other day and here are the pics! The Aqaurium is so nice too, beautiful fishes and cute Monk Seals too~
The grassy picnic area was like a golf green. We made the human pyramid!
Ice skating Hawaiian style is a bit different than back home in MN. It was packed like sardines in there and there were no pro's to watch in the middle but verrry, very good people watching~~~
I wish they could have played The Gear Daddies I Want To Drive The Zamboni while it was tooling around. Maybe they haven't ever heard of it?
