School Christmas program

Believe it or not, Andrews school had a Christmas program! Yes CHRISTmas! They sang actual Christmas songs and had a decorated tree! in a day and age where celebrating PC diversity has neutered the holiday, THIS is refreshing!

March guests!!!!

We are so happy to be expecting guests in March!
THe 6th -12th Jody, Mike and Judson are coming! I am so psyched! Another girlfriend to hand out with and Jodi is a blast! The boys adore Judson and Troy likes Mike a lot, so they can go do guy stuff! Perfect!
Later on in the month from the 22nd- 30 my Big Brother Dave (Darp-EEE-arp-Ayve), sis in law Jennifer and their kids Sarah, Eleanor and Alec are coming and staying at Bellows! It will be so much fun to hang out with them!!! Especially my sister in law. I don't think we have ever had enough time to just sit and have fun, vacation-style! And she is a blast! I am really excited! Just to have family and friends come visit feels really great!

This little singing mouse has been with us forever it seems... Just when we thought we successfully got rid of that awful singing walleye this thing showed up.
So, the kids have been playing it (thanks dad for putting fresh new batteries in it!) and singing along. I was surprised they let me get em on film!
So, now YOu the viewer just has to watch it and press replay ABOUT 20 TIMES in a ROW and you'll know what it sounds like around here lately! Ha ha ha ha

This is December in our neck of the woods..or jungle..

After a day of Kayaking we thought we'd see if the dogs would be up for a little ride. They loved it!
This is December here... I am still pinching myself. ginger started out sitting next to Maddie but then we got her to move up to the front seat, now if she could just dog paddle!
We took Petey out on the ocean just outside the mouth of our little lagoon and he sat there like a champ. He'd growl at the bouys.
Just found out the DiMarias are coming in March! The boys will be so happy to see Judson again! He'll have a blast here! IT'll be fun to have all of them out here!

Scott finds his soulmate

Scott and Chow Whiting were here and I was lucky enough to see them and finally meet Chow. We ate at Buzz's and it was a lot of fun. Afterward scott and I tackled (me in a halter-dress and hufing and puffing-Scott climbing effortlessy- up to the Pill Boxes in Lanikai. I am lucky to have friends that know thier way around here! Scott grew up here, moved to Minnesota and I know him from high school (just a few short years ago yeah?) His dad moved back here and now Scott and Chow have a place in Lanikai- Hopefully they'll be back soon!

You all know Kleiban Cat from the Crazy Shirts? Well... This is the boat that the illustrator of Klieiban once owned.... I am like the paparazi of once used boats....

Friends of theirs own a sailboat and took us out one night. It was so much fun!

The bowling incident

A few days prior to leaving McChord we went bowling with our family and the DiMarias... Troy was showing his cool moves when trying to save a ball that Dru dropped. Well, he ended up hitting the lane that was all sick with oil and he wiped out faster than a load of bricks dropping. He landed on his ass on TOP of his phone that he had put in his back pocket.
Well, the guy could barely finish the frame he was in so much pain..we all couldn't stop laughing...
His phone was fried and the screen was all distorted...ha ha ha
A few days later he unveiled his huge, gross bruise...
